I have no idea why, do I just try it and see. Even the social media apps will be in gray-scale.
Would be interesting if they let you select the hue, because my mother used to say the reason why I have myopia is because I live in a place where I cannot see greenery for miles around me.
Single-hued graphic designs are not supposed to be the easiest of stuff.
Sometimes I wish I can rename the mobile app, so that I know specifically what it is for, and I can give it a name for what I do with the app. Otherwise you need to create associations in your mind just to remember the icon and the purpose of the app.
But of course, if you tap on the About section of the app, you should still be able to see the original name of the app.
